Pretty spring blooms at Great Fosters wedding
As a recommended wedding florist at Great Fosters for many years, we get to arrange lots and lots of beautiful wedding flowers, so it is always hard to pick which weddings to feature. But Natalie & Chris’ wedding easily made the list! Not only did they have a beautiful colour scheme which suited the venue really well, but there were so many unique touches to this wedding!
Natalie and her bridesmaids carried pretty wilder style bouquets with roses, ranunculus, spray roses and anemones, with eucalyptus accents, in soft ivory, blush and pale peach shades. The men wore peachy blush rose buttonholes with silvery green eucalyptus.
For the wedding ceremony, Natalie and Chris opted for a light and airy decor, with ghost chairs, letting the light that pours through the beautiful orangery windows flow right through and flood the whole room. We styled the aisle with pretty vintage posies of flowers in silver hanging vases, and added candlelit lantern vases down the aisle and rose petals scatter to define the wedding aisle. We added definition to the stone pillars at the front and back of the aisle with stunning flower-wall panels. These are available to hire as ivory as standard, but we customised them here with accent blush roses and paeonies. The side windows at the front of the ceremony were dressed with freestanding urn centrepieces in front of them, and kept this light and breezy to continue the laid back styling for the wedding. 
Following the ceremony, the wedding party enjoyed some beautiful April sunshine with gorgeous trees in bud!
The wedding breakfast was held in the atmospheric Tithe Barn at Great Fosters. I count myself lucky as a wedding florist to work with such a beautiful venue, I adore the tall ceilings on the barn and the cosy feel it has for even larger weddings. For Natalie & Chris’ wedding, we styled the long oval top table with an eclectic mix of flower bouquets, vintage silver candle holders and candlestick holders and tall stemmed votives, adding a really cosy and intimate feel to the large top table.
The centre tables in the middle of the barn were dressed with tall vases with vintage style blooms including hydrangeas, roses, lisianthus and scented stocks, with lacey gypsophila and flowy draping eucalyptus Nicoli. The flower-wall panels were brought through to create a floral backdrop to the cake cutting (somehow they ended up not being pushed together as planned, but strangely enough I quite like the way they ended up being used!) 
The tables under the eaves of the barn, where the ceiling is lower, were all dressed with a cluster of mixed height vases with lots of blousy blooms in beautiful shades of ivory, blush and pale peach. We added floating candle vases and tall stemmed votives to complete the candlelit look.
