Sarah & Oli’s pretty dream wedding
I met with Sarah & Oli at Pembroke Lodge’s first wedding open day of the year and we then met up at the Pembroke Cafe to run through their ideas and come up with a plan. Sarah loved the idea of a pale blush wedding and wanted to create a really dreamy and romantic look with lots of delicate pastel pink shades, pretty decor touches, lots of candlelight and a statement backdrop for the ceremony area. I think we nicely ticked all the boxes…
Sarah & Oli got ready at nearby Richmond Gate Harbour Hotel and then had their wedding ceremony and reception both at the unique Pembroke Lodge, in the middle of the beautiful Richmond Park.
Sarah and her bridesmaids were visions of prettiness with their bouquets and the flowers perfectly complemented the dreamy style of the dresses, with a textural mix of ivory and hint of blush roses, spray roses, astilbe, lacy gypsophila and a little eucalyptus.
For the ceremony, we created a beautiful and dreamy tulle draped arch and added lavish bloomy floral displays around it and on the mantlepiece in the Russell Suite. We added candlelight and cute chair posies on the aisle chairs and dressed the special bride and groom chairs with tulle drapes to complement the arch design, with char posies on the back. The ceremony table was dressed with bud vases and candlelight and the theme of bud vases and candlelight also guided the choice of table centrepieces, where we used lots of candlesticks, bouquets and bud vases of flowers. We had enough bouquets and chair posies and bud vases from the ceremony decor to dress all the round guest tables and the top table itself so everything was put to good use and repurposed during the day.
The beautiful cake and cookies was thanks to Erica from Iced Innovations and the soft focus photography is all thanks to Highlife Pictures Photography.
