We are venue recommended florists and have arranged many stunning wedding Great Fosters wedding reception and ceremonies flowers over the years. This past weekend we arranged the Alexa & Simon’s church ceremony flowers and Great Fosters wedding reception flowers. The sky may not have been the ‘sky blue’ that we had all hoped for but that didn’t stop it being an amazing start to the day.
My day started very early with a set up of the Great Fosters wedding reception flowers, which it was finally late enough to find Alexa to take over her bridal flowers without the risk of actually waking her up. When I met with Alexa it seemed that really absolutely nothing could put even a tiny kink in her upbeat and relaxed outlook. And I think that judging by her beaming smile, the flowers may have helped take the edge of the possibly sunny – possibly rainy mix of weather the day promised to hold. After that I headed over to the beautiful Lyne & Longcross Church, a short hop away from our workshop. So on both fronts familiar and beautiful places to work our magic on.
Alexa and her bridesmaids all carried bouquets of Avalanche roses, ivory spray roses and scented pale blue muscari with touches of silvery green eucalyptus. The men’s buttonholes matched the scheme, with pretty muscari to add a splash of pale blue to the classic ivory roses.
For the church, we welcomed guests at the lych gate and the pews with pretty ‘fleur’ buckets spilling over with roses, muscari and eucalyptus. And to frame the wedding ceremony we arranged 2 amazing ivory and sky blue urn displays with tall delphiniums, lots of roses and hydrangeas, scented stocks and lisianthus.
Over at Great Fosters, the guest table centrepieces were dressed with a mix of tall vases and low storm vases in ivory and sky blue, with roses, hydrangeas, lisianthus, muscari and delphiniums. The large oval top table was dressed with a series of low vases holding the 5 bridesmaids bouquets fresh…. A lovely and fresh colour mix made this a pleasure to arrange!
