Simply stunning ivory & latte winter wedding flowers
For this beautiful ivory & latte wedding at Great Fosters, we created some beautiful & opulent wedding flowers combining roses, stunning amaryllis and rarely available in December hydrangeas. Against all odds we managed a small miracle by getting ivory hydrangeas in December – much to the delight of the lovely bride who loved them but was not expecting them to be available. This stunning wedding at Great Fosters had its ceremony in the beautiful Orangery, and the reception in the Tithe Barn. Over a year’s planning made Roisin & Adam’s wedding a really memorable day with simply stunning wedding flowers which delighted the lovely bride and drew much admiration from everyone on theday, including the Great Fosters weddings team.
For Roisin’s bridal bouquet, we made up a very bloomy bouquet of ivory Dolomitti roses, with pearls strands threaded delicately over the bouquet. The bridesmaids carried matching smaller bouquets of ivory roses and spray roses with latte ribbons to match this beautiful colour scheme. The buttonholes and corsages were beautiful ivory roses with accent latte coloured eucalyptus leaves and berries.
For the ceremony in the Orangery, this wedding at Great Fosters had the extra advantage of the seasonal decorations already being present in the room. With Roisin’s love of flowers though, the extra flower decorations we provided, made this nothing short of spectacular, straight out of a fairy tale book. The ceremony table was styled with a line up of pretty vases with roses, amaryllis, dreamy gypsophilla, with latte ribbons to link in with the colour scheme. The wedding aisle was dressed with a line-up of crystal draped tall vases with opulent amaryllis and lacey gypsophilla – these looked stunning catching the light, against the latte-sashed chair covers. The ceremony area where Roisin & Adam stood for the ceremony, was framed by two amazing modern vintage urns with tall amaryllis and roses, creating a beautiful backdrop for the wedding ceremony.
For the wedding reception in the Tithe Barn, the top table was styled with an amazing garland runner of flowers and latte eucalyptus running all along the length of the top table. The guest tables were all dressed with opulent tall vases of wintry amaryllis and textural hydrangeas, with latte eucalyptus accents. Picking up the latte colour, we styled each vase with latte ribbon band with pearl studs and surrounded each tall vase with a pretty cluster of 3 low vases, each slightly different in design – roses, amaryllis and gypsophilla, hydrangeas and lisianthus. Pretty votives added a soft candlelight glow which looked really romantic.
