Gorgeous Cath Kinstonesque flowers at Pembroke
I am so thriled with these stunning Pembroke Lodge wedding photos. This wedding was just mega amazing! Petitte and bijou it may have been when it came to number of guests, but the flowers were just mega mega mega, on all aspects.
If there is one set of Pembroke Lodge wedding photos that is bound to wow and convert even the most pink-averse man or woman to liking pinks, then I think these surely have a chance of doing that. This weekend we had a good photo snapping session when we returned to the gorgeous Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park for Camilla’s very pretty vintage wedding flowers. I managed to capture lots of beautiful Pembroke Lodge wedding photos from this wow-factor wedding and have included some from her talented photographer Chanon De Valois.
We used some amazing varieties that I will now be hooked on forwever – beautifully scented White O’Hara roses and Pink O’Hara roses, huge blooms of All For Love pink roses, and some amazing rich fuchsia pink Purple Power roses. The colour combination was just stunning and just reminds me of pretty Cath Kidston prints! Camilla’s bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets all used a beautiful blend of various roses including those amazing O’Hara and All For Love blooms. For the little flower girls we made up pretty baskets with… you guessed it, more stunning roses in.
Four show-stopping tall vase centrepieces, with massive clouds of roses and hydrangeas resting on tall vases with roses and pearls in them, were used first to frame the start and end of the aisle. Then they became table centrepieces rising up above guests heads and sending heavenly scent around the table. We dressed the window behind the ceremony table with pretty garlands of roses and spray roses, with feathery coral fern, and Blanca from Host with Style added pretty floaty drapes behind them. The aisle was lined with romantic petal scatter and storm vases, and the fireplace was decorated with votives, loose blooms and lace embelished candle holders.
The tables were beautifully dressed with raspbery table cloths covered with vintage lace overlay, and pretty raspbery napkins, all from Host With Style who give the most attention to detail to their beautiful table settings, and Camilla had sourced vintage cups and saucers to put her favours on.
I can really say the flowers were just as stunning in real life as in these beautiful Pembroke Lodge wedding photos. Without a doubt my favourite this year after some already pretty amazing recent weddings! Luckily the lovely bride, just off to a romantic honeymoon in Venice, was delighted when we caught up with her after the wedding. It was a real pleasure to see the whole theme coming together and see how the flowers went just so well with the overall table decorations. It really transformed the beautiful Russell Suite into a magical vintage opulence setting. And now that I am hooked on these beautiful roses, I need more rose connoiseurs please! So please if you are planning a vintage wedding, get in touch to see how we can transform your wedding day with flowers to remember forever.
