This was a lovely and dramatic Pennyhill Park wedding, in Surrey. When I met Amanda to talk about her plans for her wedding reception at Pennyhill Park, one thing was immediately crystal clear. Here was a bride wishing to make a real statement. From the gorgeous bridal gown to the bold colour scheme that Amanda chose for her Pennyhill Park wedding reception there is nothing that follows the usual rules. For the bridal bouquet, Amanda chose a gorgous and richly coloured mix of deep purple hydrangeas, with accent lilac and dusky pink roses and just a splash of lime green hydrangea clusters. For the groom’s buttonhole we used a pale lilac Memory Lane rose.
Following a church wedding, this Pennyhill Park wedding reception took place in the Balmoral suite. Amanda explained that she would be having a light canopy, curtesy of Party Lights, which we cross paths with quite often, and that she was keen to have a dash of elegant sparkle in all the tablecentre displays.
What better thing than our crystal adorned vases, which looked so glam and elegant, especially later on when the natural day light faded! We used a mix of deepest purple and lime green hydrangeas, deep purple and lilac stocks, deep purple lisianthus, lilac Safi and Memory Lane roses, and dusky pink Coolwater roses. Amanda had sourced some amazingly scented handmade soaps and candles as favours for here guests, and invited her guests to help themselves. Together with the scented flowers, the scent in the room was amazing!
I hope this gives you some inspiration if you are opting for a stronger colour scheme, and if you are getting married and plan to wed at Pennyhill Park, please visit our Pennyhill Park wedding gallery page or search our blog posts for other Pennyhill Park wedding flowers we have arranged at this lovely Surrey wedding venue.
