Relaxed Informal Winter Wedding at Pembroke Lodge
Right from the start I really loved Saira and Jerry’s theme for the wedding at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park. They opted for relaxed, informal and slightly rustic wedding flowers for the Russell Suite at Pembroke Lodge. Seeing Tori Deslauriers photos from this beautiful laid back wedding, which look amazing as always, it seems that the wedding designs we chose together suited Saira and Jerry perfectly!
Saira opted for a wintry bouquet of ivory hydrangeas, ivory and nude pink Mentha roses, sprigs of scented genista and feathery astilbe, and the slight accents of nude pink Mentha roses really complemented the gorgeous fur stole in mellow sandy brown tones that Saira wore. Her cute flower girls carried matching posies and the men wore ivory rose buttonholes with genista and spray rose detail. The wedding ceremony and reception both took place in the Russell Suite upstairs, so Saira wanted the stairs dressed beautifully with lots of rustic ivy and foliage, tumbling down from the handrail, and as much candlelight as possible. For safety, we used our faux flicker effect candles in lots of storm vases and votives, and the effect was really lovely and soft. Upstairs Saira and Jerry again chose very informal flower centrepieces with a lovely natural and relaxed style. A mix of tall and low table centrepieces of white hydrangeas and twigs, cleverly doubled up as ceremony flowers and wedding breakfast table centrepieces: 2 of the tall twigs vases were used on plinths to start the aisle and 2 were used to flank the ceremony table. And the ceremony table itself was dressed with 2 low guest table centrepieces and connected by rose petals and votives. The finishing touches were rose petals scatter down the aisle, and a lovely wintry display flanked by candlelit storm vases on the mantlepiece in the Russell Suite.
