Amazing New Year’s Eve Botleys Mansion wedding
Sinead and Craigs’ 2015 New Year’s Eve wedding at Botleys Mansion in Surrey, was a lovely conclusion to another year of beautiful wedding flowers at Botleys Mansion. In contrast with the summery weddings posted earlier on, the designs at this lovely wedding were wintry and crisp, with beautiful white and sparkly silver touches, to nicely echo Sinead’s white & deep blue colour scheme.
For her bouquet, Sinead opted for a wintry handtied bridal bouquet of white calla lilies, Avalanche roses, blue delphinium tips and silver brunnia berries, with a light halo of lacey gypsophila and a few accent frosty pine cones. The bridesmaids and flower girls carried matching smaller posies with long trailing deep blue ribbons, and the men wore buttonholes of Avalanche roses with silver berries and white ferns and twigs, Craigs being the only one with a touch of blue.
Sinead and Craig’s wedding ceremony was at Holy Trinity Church in Lyne and Loncross, just a few minutes from our workshop. The church was beautifully decorated with 2 lavish and dramatic ceremony centrepieces of white flowers, packed with gladiola, sparkly white twigs, blousy textural hydrangeas and roses. Pretty gypsophila clusters were added to down the aisle to dress the pew end, and the church windows were packed with candles. 
After that Sinead and Craig’s wedding reception at Botleys Mansion, was simply amazing, with the light and airy atrium dressed with wintry displays of white flowers, sparkly twigs, hanging globe tea lights and lots of candles and votives. Since the atrium is so vast, Sinead wanted to create a lot of wow factor with mainly tall centrepieces, to fill the space, but wanted to also mix on a few low centrepieces, and lots of candles and votives on all the tables, to create a warm and inviting effect. I imagine it took the team quite a while to light all the candles but when all done it must have looked amazing.
For the table centrepieces with tall Martino vase displays on them, the designs were large domes of flowers bursting with ivory white hydrangeas, roses and pretty gypsophila, with tall sparkly silvery white twigs and silver eucalyptus and ferns. The vase cup was lined with deep navy blue and was surrounded by floating candles in vases styled with deep blue ribbon, all linking in with Sinead’s bridesmaids dress colours. More candlelight was added by hanging glass bauble tea lights from the Martini vases. The low table centrepieces echoed the same designs but used lower vases, so that the flower displays didn’t obstruct the view across the tables.
The evening drew to a close at midnight on New Year’s Eve, with an amazing fireworks display!
