About Botleys Mansion

What would you like to know about Botleys Mansion?

Botleys Mansion is an amazing Surrey wedding venue not far from Chertsey.  From the very arrival, the double-approach stone stairs entrance to this grand 18th Century listed Palladian mansion with a softly flowing water-fountain creates the perfect opportunity to welcome guests and later have a stunning shot for all your wedding guests.  We often dress the stone pillars and the balcony between the Torchiere lamps with gorgeous flowers.

The grand stairs lead to a beautiful reception hall and a focal grand table which just screams out for an impressive welcome floral display to greet your guests as they come in.

On this upper level there is the Green Room, an elegant English stately home style room, with delicate pale sage panelled walls and beautiful guilding and stunning gold guided chandelier.  The Green Room  can host smaller wedding ceremonies of 131 guests and can also be used for wedding breakfast of up to 80 guests.

If you have more guests, the stunning glass-house Atrium can handle ceremonies with up to 288 day guests and 500 evening guests.  A typical wedding breakfast in the Atrium, where all the guests are seated at round guest tables in the main central part of the Atrium only, will optimally seat around 90 – 120 guests, but the 2 wings to theft and right, both can seat another 80 guests in each wing.

As the grand atrium is such a tall ceilinged space, a mix of tall and low guest table centrepieces look best in the central part of the atrium, where they will be beautifully illuminated by 3 most amazing crystal chandeliers overhead, while the tables in each wing can look perfectly lovely with all low guest table centrepieces.

The feature in the room is most definitely the grand staircase which provides the perfect entrance and path for the newly married couple, as they walk under the statement chandeliers to reach the top table.  We often dress those with lavish statement flowers, usually on the last 5-6 steps though all the way up looks even more jaw droppingly impressive.

The garden pavilion also offers a beautiful backdrop for more intimate wedding ceremonies and looks stunning dressed with flowers.

The venue is available for exclusive hire and therefore, unless you are extending your venue hire to pre-11am, it is a good idea to get most of the wedding preparations under way while staying the night before at nearby Foxhills Golf Club or Great Fosters Hotel, and simply put on finishing inches when you arrive at Botleys.  A set of 12 beautifully decorated bedrooms including a gorgeous bridal suite overlooking the front sweeping drive is available for the wedding party to get ready and for the overnight stay after the wedding.
