Wedding flowers at Foxhills Golf Club, Ottershaw
Charley & Dean’s wedding flowers at Foxhills Golf Club in Ottershaw, Surrey, were a floaty vision of ivory and pale hint blush in the middle of the best time of the year – peony season!
We’d provided wedding flowers at Foxhills in the past but it had been a while since I visited the venue, so a few months before I went for a venue visit and reminded myself of how lovely the venue is. On the day, it really lived up to my expectations, with glorious sunshine streaming through the beautiful arched windows.
Charley opted for a hand-tied blousy bouquet of ivory and delicate blush roses, a few accent creamy blush roses, Bombastic spray roses which are really adorable, wispy astilbe and peonies of course, with just a little dainty eucalyptus foliage. The bridesmaids, visions of beauty in the palest of blush pink dresses, had matching ones and looked so delicate and gorgeous.
We dressed the wedding ceremony with a lavish blousy long & low display and farmed the start and end of the aisle with our elegant silver fluted vases, with really lovely and gorgeous floral displays packed with flowers, including Charley and mine’s favourites: hydrangeas and roses and peonies, with subtle accents of sage green eucalyptus, lisianthus and gypsophila.
For the short aisle we added cute chair posies in bud vases to every other row of chairs, and these as well as the 4 tall displays would be later reused to dress the guest tables, along with some of our gorgeous silver candlesticks and votives.
