Pretty ivory & pale pink wedding in The Belvedere
Harriet and Jon had their wedding ceremony and reception in the beautiful Belvedere Suite at Pembroke Lodge and the weather couldn’t have been nicer, a lucky break for early April, it felt really more like May – June.
Harriet and her mum came to us to chat all things floral equipped with just a swatch of the bridesmaids dresses in the softest of sage greens. It soon turned out that Harriet really loved the idea of ivory, pale blush, hint of blush and very pale dusty pinks and the rest was as they say history.
We dressed the wedding with just 2 focal tall vase centrepieces used to flank the ceremony table, later to be reused as table centrepieces on two central tables, and then dressed the wedding aisle with pretty char posies on every other row. To echo the sage green of the dresses, Harriet was keen to have eucalyptus garlands along the windows, so we created a beautiful foliage swag along the length of the room, running along the top of the windows, which with the light streaming in, looked really beautiful. For ceremony table we created a gorgeous long display later reused on the top table, while the rest of the round guest tables were decorated with pretty, blousy mirrored vases on mirrored plates. Throughout, we kept to a natural look that wasn’t too wild, as Harriet was keen to have a relaxed vibe but didn’t want to end up with a very boho deconstructed style.
With a mix of hydrangeas, roses, spray roses, lisianthus, astrantia, astilbe, achillea, and some pretty lacy gypsophila and plenty of sage green eucalyptus, I think we hit just the right sweet-spot in this respect and I loved seeing it all again in the beautiful photography that Harriet shared with me after the wedding, thanks to Jamie Stone Photography.
