Pretty peach fuzz wedding with spring blooms
As a recommended wedding florist at Great Fosters Hotel in Egham for many years, we get to arrange lots and lots of beautiful wedding flowers, so it is always hard to pick which weddings to feature. But Natalie & Chris’ wedding last spring easily made the list! The beautiful blush and peach fuzz colour scheme suited the venue really well and is such a strong incoming trend for spring and summer weddings. There were also so many unique touches to this wedding that it just had to make the list!
Natalie and her bridesmaids carried bloomy bouquets with roses, Klooney ranunculus, spray roses and enchanting anemones, with eucalyptus accents, in soft ivory, blush and pale peach fuzz shades. The men wore peach fuzz rose buttonholes with silvery green eucalyptus.
For the wedding ceremony, Natalie and Chris opted for a light and airy decor, with ghost chairs, letting the light that pours through the beautiful orangery windows flow right through and flood the whole room. We styled the aisle with pretty vintage posies of flowers in silver hanging vases, and added candlelit lantern vases down the aisle and rose petals scatter to define the wedding aisle. The stone pillars at the front and back of the room, were also defined with our opulent stunning flower-wall panels. Since the chairs were see through and light was in abundance, we had no reservations about putting anything in front of the gorgeous arched side windows. So here, we used the space to add more floral decor for the ceremony backdrop, by creating two gorgeous floral urns full of spring blooms. The atmosphere was magical, on this beautiful April day with sunshine bathing the Orangery in a perfect soft light. Following the ceremony, the wedding party enjoyed some beautiful April sunshine with gorgeous trees in bud!
The wedding breakfast was held in the atmospheric Tithe Barn at Great Fosters. I count myself lucky as a wedding florist to work with such a beautiful venue, I adore the tall ceilings on the barn and the cosy feel it has even at larger weddings. For Natalie & Chris’ wedding, we styled the long oval top table with an eclectic mix of flower bouquets, vintage silver candle holders and candlestick holders and tall stemmed votives, adding a really cosy and intimate feel to the large top table.
The guest tables at the hub of the beautiful Tithe barn were dressed with tall vases with vintage style blooms including hydrangeas, roses, lisianthus and scented stocks, with lacey gypsophila and flowy draping eucalyptus Nicoli. The tables under the eaves of the barn, where the ceiling is lower, were all dressed with a cluster of mixed height vases with ivory, blush and pale peach fuzz wedding flowers bouquets. We added floating candle vases and tall stemmed votives to complete the candlelit look.
