Romantic Botleys Mansion wedding flowers
I was really looking forward to arranging the flowers for this recent Botleys Mansion spring wedding. Holly came to us with a brief for romantic opulent flowers in ivory with the softest hint of pale blush pinks. Pearls were another key part of the design element so we brought these in the design of the flowers girls flowers and the centrepieces too.
For her bouquet, Holly wanted a dense, bloomy and perfectly shaped tear drop boquuet, for which we used a blend of ivory Avalanche roses, blush O’Hara and deeper Pink O’Hara roses, and Sweet Avalanche roses, the scent of it was amazing! For Holly’s bridesmaids we created matching handtied bouquets of Dutch and Columbian roses, and for the two young flower girls, we fashioned 2 adorable wands with sprays of pearls and bloomy but dainty spray roses. The men wore buttonholes of Sweet Avalanche roses and the groom, an ivory Avalanche rose buttonhole.
Welcoming guests to this beautiful Botleys Mansion wedding, was a gorgeous display of delphiniums, hydrangeas and blush pink roses, sitting at the top of a vase with pearls and Columbian roses inside it, for a touch of vintage glam. We placed this on the central table in the entrance hall of Botleys Mansion, to be the first thing that guests see as they walk in.
My favourite displays were the ones in the ceremony room, where we recreated the same design on a bigger scale, and we placed them on our very opulent mirrored plinths. Along the aisle and the fireplace we lined up lots and lots of storm vases for romantic candlelight, and the ceremony table was styled with small vases of bloomy boquuets, connected by rose petals, rose blooms and tea lights.

For the Botleys Mansion wedding reception, we decorated the tables in the atrium with opulent displays of blousy ivory hydrangeas accented with subtle splashes of pale blush pink Sweet Avalanche and O’Hara roses . Making them even more decadent, each display was adorned with draping pearl strands, linking in with Hollie’s theme and pretty table accessories.
