A gorgeous summer wedding with stunning florals
Georgina & Charles were just such a lovely couple to work with. We met just 4 months before the wedding and we quickly clicked and came up with a really exciting plan for the wedding.
Georgina and Charles held their wedding in the beautifully light Oval room at Coworth Park in Ascot, a luxurious wedding venue part of the Dorchester group. Opting for a very classy mix of ivory with a hint of palest creams, the effect was totally mesmerising. The couple had had a clear vision for how they wanted their day to look and feel and it included an abundance of flowers which I am always happy to hear.
For Georgina’s bridal bouquet, we used a mix of Dorchester Meyer roses (an interesting coincidence only), mixed in with peonies, scented O’Hara hint of blush garden roses, spray roses and lisianthus, with just a little accent eucalyptus and lacy gypsophila, to echo the stunning lace design of Georgina’s dress sleeves.
The wedding ceremony florals were stunning, with a beautiful flower lined aisle, casting a fabulous scent as guests walked past them, to take their seats. At the front, two statement floral urns framed an equally impressive floral moongate arch, which combined and amplified one another, creating a fabulous backdrop to the wedding. The ceremony table was dressed with natural, romantic style vases and candlesticks. Floating candles and rose petals down the aisle completed this elegant decor and created the perfect ambiance for this amazing luxe wedding.
While the room was later turned around, the wedding party enjoyed the beautiful May day, over a drinks reception and garden games, and fabulous photos in the stunning gardens. Coming back inside, guests took their seats at a long banqueting tables dressed with statement tall vases bursting with textural summer blooms. The matching low floral domes from the wedding aisle were used to infill the space along the long table, and an abundance of candles and elegant gold charger plates, completed the carefully curated decor. Everything combined to create the most gorgeous atmosphere for their day and it was such a true pleasure and honour to be part of their wedding day. I hope you enjoy these beautiful photos, thanks to talented Zanela & Rad husband & wife photographer team from True Lens Art photography.
