Luxury wedding flowers 

This awesome wedding at Great Fosters was one of last year’s top favourites, so I’m so glad I finally have some gorgeous photography from this stunning wedding.  Luxury wedding flowers for me means not only amount of flowers but also the type of varieties used, and nothing apart from perhaps orchids says luxury more than scented garden roses and hydrangeas.  Laura & Michael’s wedding packed all of this in and more, adding extra tiers to the definition of ‘luxury wedding flowers’. 

Laura and her bridesmaids carried beautiful bouquets in delicate shades of cream and pale blush and Laura had calla lilies added to hers too.  The scent of the garden roses, including my favourite O’Hara roses, was a total dreamland was much appreciated when the flowers arrived in the Nursery Suite at Great Fosters!  

For their mid summer wedding at Great Fosters, in Surrey, Laura and Michael opted for an indoor wedding ceremony in the Orangery, with the reception naturally held in the beautiful Tithe Barn.  Our blossom flower trees came into their own down the aisle, creating a magical space, while for the ceremony, we created an ethereal part-arch part-canopy structure to showcase the wedding ceremony area. The white Chiavari chairs,  supplied by Host With Style, were dressed with blush & ivory mermaid tails and luxury broaches which really transformed and elevated the seating.   

The list of luxury wedding flowers at this wedding didn’t stop there.  For the wedding breakfast, Laura and Michael wanted the barn to look quite different and opted for more polished and luxurious table centrepieces, bursting with gorgeous ivory and blush summer blooms undiluted by any foliage for a really opulent look.  Tall centrepieces draping with pearls strands dressed the tables in the high part of the barn, while romantic candle-lit clusters of low vases and candles with pearl details, dressed the tables under the eaves of the barn.  

Last but not least, the beautifully bloomy bridesmaids bouquets were used after the photos, along with lots of our interesting vintage candlesticks and votives, to lavishly decorate the long top table.
