Iconic Great Fosters White Wedding Flowers
For fantastic reviews and classic appeal that stands the test of time, this all time favourite Great Fosters wedding has become a little bit iconic and wins hands down everytime with brides & grooms and mums alike.
Every bride that sees these wonderful photos of the Tithe Barn with classic ivory flowers and opulent displays tells us that this is a dream wedding look. Arranged a few of years ago now, it shows that classic ivory flowers and elegant displays stand the test of time, so that down the line when you look at your wedding flowers with fresh eyes, you won’t regret not going with the fad of the day. And certainly ivory always looks so great against the wood panelling for Great Fosters Tithe Barn wedding receptions, that it is a super great choice.
The church ceremony took place in Weybridge, near the brides’ home. It is a beautiful church with great proportions and lovely old features, it really didn’t need much to look fantastic. The church was dressed with two romantic floor standing displays later brought back to Great Fosters, and pretty church pew flowers with ivory ribbons trailing softly to the floor. Charlotte carried a stunning and very lavish shower bouquet of ivory Avalanche roses, phaleonopsis orchids and calla lilies, and the bridesmaids wearing dark navy blue, carried coordinating hand-tied bouquets of roses and freesias.
In the barn we used a mix of really tall candelabras with super grand flower domes at the top (quite possibly the biggest ones I have ever arranged and totally snowed under by flowers), and lower candelabras with rings of flowers around their base.
The Minstrel Gallery was dressed with a beautiful bloomy runner all along its lower ledge, for a very rich and decadent effect. Again, sometimes less is more but more is definitely so nice to have when you can do!
