Highclere Castle wedding florists

As recommended Highclere Castle wedding florists we are thrilled to be back again at Highclere Castle for Louise and James’ wedding in August.  Of course all my staff are so excited about getting to see the lovely setting of the captivating ITV drama Downton Abbey, filmed at Highclere castle, that I don’t even get to ask who would be available to work on the day.  Everyone is rushing to volunteer way ahead of my mouth even uttering the words!  Here is a brief collage for the wedding theme, for more please scroll down.

The beautiful wedding photography was by Chris Douglas Photography, who have perfectly captured this beautiful wedding at Highclere and showcase our wedding flowers even more vividly.   The entertainment band was Jumpin.   Yes, without the g as they are wayyyyy  too cool for that!

Louise looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress and the bloomy tear drop bouquet of roses with delicate sprigs of lily of the valley and delphinium buds, looked amazing against the dress.  Louise was too sentimental to throw it so she asked us to make a throwing bouquet where we added some dark blue black vibernum and lisianthus.  The gorgous little flower girl carried a small posy of roses and lisianthus tied with pretty flowy ribbons to match her navy sash.  The adult bridesmaids had bouquets of roses, ivory lisianthus, vibernum berries.  James looked very handsome in his dark suit, with an Avalanche rose buttonhole with vebernum berries and thistle detail.

The entrance and doors to the rear grounds of the castle were framed by bay trees dressed with ivory roses and we hung two romantic flower wreaths on each of the grandfront entrance doors.  The ceremony room was dressed with 2 absolutely amazing and dramatic urn display, one on either side of the even grander fireplace, and another one in front of the tapestry wall hanging.

For the evening reception in the library, the tables were dressed witha mixture of tall opulent silver candelabra displays and low Revere silver bowl flower displays.   In both cases, totally oevrflowing with flowers for a really dramatic and bloomy look.  We also provided handcrafted confetti linen card cones filled with ivory rose petals and decorated with sprigs of scented lavender.
