Vintage wedding flowers at The Vineyard
I really loved the pretty and dreamy ivory and pale peach wedding flowers for this gorgeous intimate wedding at the lovely Vineyard Hotel & Spa in Newbury. As well as discovering a new and lovely venue, Verity and her little girl were so sweet together in the morning of the wedding, it was really touching.
Verity chose a lacey bouquet of hydrangeas, roses and gypsophila, and pale peachy cream rose buttonholes for the men. Her adorable daughter who was the flower girl, carried a pretty pomander of gypsophila.
For the wedding at The Vineyard, we created pure and dreamy displays of gypsophila, in our elegant tall silver vases, and surrounded these with cute posies of roses and gypsophila in silver mercury glass bottles to match the tall vases. All the tall displays were first of all put to good use in the ceremony room, by using them first to flank the start of the aisle and to frame the ceremony table, placed on the in-character huge vineyard barrels available at the venue. Then they were moved through to the reception tables and looked stunning against the wall murals in the wedding breakfast room.
As this was such a cosy and relatively straightforward wedding, it really doesn’t need much commentary but I hope you will agree, small and bijou suited this couple so well. I was delighted to share the beautiful photography thanks to Kirsty & Grant.
