Vintage Wedding Flowers – Shabby Chic Meets Luxe
This wedding at Great Fosters used some gorgeous and soft, two-toned muted colours, in easy shades of ivory, cream, palest hint of blush, and accents of creamy latte and soft vintage greens. The combination of shabby chic elements with so many beautiful luxurious décor finishes, was just the icing on the cake!
The bridal bouquet was a beautiful mix of ivory, pale cream and vintage blush roses, spray roses, lisianthus and scented freesias, and the bridesmaids held beautiful matching bouquets, with latte ribbon to match the colour theme for the wedding. The men wore classic rose buttonholes with blush lisianthus and silvery mimosa.
For the ceremony in the beautifully light orangery, the room looked even lighter than usual, with lovely shabby chic chiavari chairs, dressed with luxurious pearl and crystal strands. The aisle was dressed with our shabby chic bird cage lanterns and scattered rose petals, for a beautifully delicate look, and the ceremony was flanked by two vintage style blousy flower centrepieces bursting with summer flowers, full of texture.
For the wedding breakfast in the tithe barn, the tables were beautifully dressed with lace overlays over latte tablecloths, and the vintage ivory stands with lavish centrepieces at the top were a gorgeous match. The tables under the eaves of the barn were dressed with bird cage lantern centrepieces like the ones on the ceremony table, and the sweatheart table was dressed with two trailing corner displays to match.
