Luxury Wedding Flowers – The Dorchester Collection
Planning these amazing luxury wedding flowers at Coworth Park was a real treat and we were absolutely blown away by the beautiful wedding photography which showcase this elegant wedding to perfection!
Nothing says luxury wedding flowers more than just abundance, and oh my days, this wedding ticked that box. While there was a lot on show, there was no unnecessary duplication. Everything was put to good use throughout the day, so the results were dramatic and bold but not wasteful, which made me really happy. It also helped beautiful bride Chloe achieve a fantastic result without a celebrity wedding budget.
To tick the luxury wedding flowers box for me, I feel like I need to check another box, which is content, and using plenty of roses and hydrangeas, with some speciality garden roses here and there, is an absolute must. We also managed to catch a few of last of the summer season’s peonies. They are all Chloe’s favourite flowers so we happily obliged.
Chloe carried an amazingly scented bouquet of ivory and pale blush roses, speciality scented O’Hara garden roses, Bombastic spray roses, peonies, wispy astilbe and lacey gypsophila to echo the lacey texture of the bridal dress. When we delivered the bouquets in the morning, Chloe looked amazing and so happy surrounded by her dearest friends. Chloe’s mum had sadly passed away so although she couldn’t be there on this very special day, we added a pretty pendant with a picture of Chloe’s mum to the ribbon around the bridal bouquet, which was a lovely way to have her mum close. Chloe’s mum was known for being a really keen cyclist, wizzing around everywhere with Chloe and her brothers, all on their bikes, when they were younger. So we created a beautifully bloomy bouquet of flowers in memory of her mum, and added it, in a vintage basket that I sourced myself, to the cheery orange bikes that are part of the hotel collection or outdoor pursuits. Chloe was really speechless and loved this, and so did we!
The bridesmaids wore light and palest blush dresses so their bouquets were made to match Chloe’s, with slightly simpler but equally dreamy florals – they matched their dresses perfectly and smelt divine.
The ceremony was held in the Oval room, after which the guests went outside for photos and the room was turned around and tables laid with luxurious perfection, ready for the wedding breakfast. Since the Oval Suite is a neutral and modern backdrop, Chloe wanted to dress this abundantly with lots of luxury wedding flowers. We used our plinths to place the tall guest table centrepieces on them during the ceremony, and even the low guest table centrepieces were first used as floor meadows, down the aisle, at floor level. Two gorgeously blousy statement floral urns created a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and were later repurposed to give the same big-bang impact behind the top table. Last but not least, the ceremony table was dressed with an amazing floral display bursting with all of Chloe’s favourite flowers.
