A Stunning White and Pale Blue Wedding at Great Fosters
Stephanie and John’s wedding at the magnificent Great Fosters Hotel in Surrey was a celebration of elegance and charm. Set against a backdrop of unique architecture bringing together the reconstructed Tudor tithe barn and modern Orangery extension with exquisite brick arches, the couple chose a delicate white and pale blue color scheme to perfectly complement their special day.
To create a truly captivating atmosphere, a combination of silk and fresh flowers were expertly blended, allowing Stephanie and John to achieve a luxurious look while remaining budget-friendly. Join us as we delve into the beautiful details of their wedding and explore the benefit of combining these two floral elements.
Beautiful fresh flowers bridal and bridesmaids flowers
Stephanie and her bridesmaids walked down the aisle holding their gorgeous summery bouquets, made with a stunning mix of fresh flowers: ivory and pale blue hydrangeas, roses, pale blue delphiniums, dainty delicate oxypetalum, campanula, lisianthu and astilbe, with sage green eucalyptus foliage. The delicate balance of colors and textures created an ethereal and romantic feel, mirroring the pale blue dresses worn by the bridesmaids.
Venue flowers and decor
To make their ceremony even more enchanting, Stephanie and Jon opted for our beautiful rose garden arch. The arch, adorned with silk flowers, provided an elegant backdrop against the impressive windows in the Orangery at Great Fosters – the perfent backdrop for a beautiful wedding ceremony. At the opposite end of the aisle, two grand floral displays of elegant white silk garden flowers, customised lightly with accents of pale blue hydrangeas, created a beautiful frame for Steph walking into the room for the first time, and Steph and Jon walking down the aisle as newly marrieds.
As the newlyweds and their guests moved to the historic Tudor Barn for the wedding breakfast, they were met with dramatic tall geometric stands floral displays adorning each table. These impressive and bloomy arrangements, with high-end silk flowers, evoked a sense of sophistication and tied flawlessly into the couple’s theme.
The little details: No detail was spared in Stephanie and John’s wedding. Even the two signs in the Painted Hall were accented with beautiful flower arrangements, again combining silk and fresh flowers in a cohesive look that pulled the entire wedding aesthetic together.
