“Enchanted Forest” Wedding theme
These wedding flowers trees looked absolutely amazing at Karris’ “enchanted forest” themed wedding in the beautiful Tithe Barn at Great Fosters.
I loved the challenge of creating these absolutely incredible towering wedding flowers trees, for the centre of the tithe barn. Just 4 of them, towering in at over 2 meters tall, created an absolutely unique and dramatic effect on the 4 tables in the corners of the Tithe Barn centre. They were mixed in with two additional designs – tall vases with cherry blossom twigs were also used in the middle of the barn, where the ceiling is really high, while slightly lower rustic flower topiary trees were used on the tables under the eaves of the barn.
For the bouquets, Karris and her bridesmaids carried beautiful roses and paeonies bouquets, while the pretty little flower girls all had matching posies and cute circlets. The top table was dressed with a series of flower posies in pretty sweetie jars, either side of a central bird cage, to which, later on, will have been added the 5 bridesmaids bouquets too, to give a really beautiful line up of flowers all along the top table. From the very smallest things like the circlets, to the v.v. v big towering flower trees, the colours were simply beautiful and so summery! We added hanging vintage bird cages, floating butterflies, doves, hanging glass bauble tea lights and draping crystals to take the enchanted forest theme even further, and wound ivy around all the upright pillars in the Tithe Barn.
