Beautiful classic wedding flowers at Pennyhill Park

These wedding flowers at Pennyhill Park showcase a classic mix of ivory and white to beautifully complement Alexandra’s choice of dark midnight blue bridesmaids dresses.  The wedding ceremony was held at Alexandra’s family church while the wedding reception was hosted at Pennyhill Park.

Our designs for this wedding were simple but stunning, with an ever popular mix of ivory Avalanche roses, ivory hydrangeas, lisianthus, scented stocks and silvery eucalyptus. Alexandra wanted plenty of candlelight everywhere to set romantic ambiance, so what better fit than our tall silver candelabras… The wedding breakfast was held in the Balmoral Suite and as Alexandra had quite a lot of tables, we recommended a 1/2 – 1/2 mix of tall and low centrepieces. to avoid it getting all a bit samey.

Tall silver candelabra displays were balanced out by low displays with clusters of candles, to avoid the room getting too top heavy and feeling cramped. The candlelight of the candelabras, nicely drew the eye up towards the ceiling fairy lights canopy, casting an elegant warm and inviting glow to the wedding breakfast. Further candlelight was brought in by hiring our lovely blossom bird cage trees, used to frame the entrance to the Balmoral Suite.

The venue flowers were all kept neutral and ivory. The only exception was the use of dark blue, nearly black vibernum berries in amongst the bridesmaids bouquets to echo the mid night blue colour scheme of their dresses, with lots of lovely eucalyptus foliage to add a after contrast.
