Fairytale Aisle & Tithe Barn Décor at Great Fosters wedding
This vintage Great Fosters wedding just rocked from start to finish with amazing displays that simply took my breath away when I’d finished the set up. Sophie & Jordan’s was the first wedding at Great Fosters to use our amazing tall flowers trees down the aisle and then re-use them also as table centrepieces…. So this was the first time I used these amazing trees to dress the centre of the Tithe Barn… And totally worth the wait. With all the pretty glowing tea lights and lanterns adorning all the trees, the Tithe Barn really did look like a fairy-tale setting!
Sophie looked amazing in a full skirted princess dress, and carried a really well suited bouquet with roses, paeony-like David Austin Patience roses, astilbe and lisianthus. Her four bridesmaids, all wearing different pastel dresses, had coordinating bouquets in the same style but each with a bias towards the colour they were wearing: one with more hint of blue, one with more of pale blush and one more neutral.
For this Great Fosters wedding, the orangery was transformed with our beautiful blossom flower trees lining the wedding aisle. Alternating with the very tall dramatic trees, were lower centrepieces of candle-lit bird cages bursting with vintage pastel wedding flowers. The overall effect for the wedding aisle was gorgeous, dreamy and light! The ceremony table was dressed with a line up of pretty vases with posies of flowers in them.
Following the ceremony, the tall trees were moved through to the tithe barn, giving beautiful focal centrepieces for the tables in the centre of the barn. The lower centrepieces with candlelit bird cages were brought in from the wedding aisle and used under the eaves of the barn, where the ceiling is very low.
All props used in this beautiful wedding ceremony and reception including the amazing towering cherry blossom flower trees, are our own and are available for hire for your Great Fosters wedding or other local venues. Please enquire with us if you have fallen in love with them as much as we have.
