Burgundy Wedding Flowers
Rich Burgundy & Golds at Loseley Park wedding in Surrey
What a stunning burgundy wedding flowers theme this wedding went for! I have been meaning to share these beautiful photos for a while, they are so gorgeous! Roberta and Dean tied the knot at Loseley House, with the wedding reception at the neighbouring barn at Loseley Park. We are familiar with the house and barn from past weddings, but it was a real pleasure to design a totally different look for this gorgeous late summer wedding.
Roberta opted for sumptuous antique gold props with rich burgundy wedding flowers and subtle accents of vintage dusty pinks. As you delve into the beautiful photography from this wedding, you’ll witness how the stunning burgundy wedding flowers made Roberta and Dean’s special day truly unforgettable. From the vibrant burgundy bridal shoes to the elegant table cloths, every detail at Loseley Park was thoughtfully designed. The rich burgundy color scheme perfectly complemented the rustic ambiance, creating a truly mesmerizing atmosphere. As burgundy is set to become a popular colour choice, these beautiful photos captured by Motiejus Photography will surely inspire you to embrace bold and beautiful colours. Step away from the traditional ivory and blush trends and let yourself be convinced by the captivating allure of burgundy.
The colour scheme suited the barn really really well, picking up on all the rich oak beams and standing out nicely against the white lime washed walls. Roberta’s love of all things burgundy paid off in spades, and totally transformed the barn. The biggest impact was opting for a banqueting style layout which worked hard and created wedding magic, perfectly suiting the boho, laid back style of the wedding.
The bridal bouquet was a gorgeous blend of roses, lisianthus, dahlias, pepper berries, scented stocks and deep nearly black viburnum berries, blended to give a heavenly and opulent design. For the bridesmaids, Roberta steered away from traditional bouquets and opted for dainty wrist corsages in dusty pink and burgundy, a blended look to bring the theme of the wedding beautifully against the bridesmaids dusty pink dresses.
Dramatic styling of the long banqueting tables at Loseley Barn, added so much impact – we alternated tall opulent antique gold candelabras, and low gold vase bouquets, creating a captivatingly different mood, full of ambiance and trend-setting style. I really hope that burgundy will become a big hit so if you are thinking of deep rich colour schemes, take a peek and be inspired. This colour would go so well in a number of variations on a theme – be it single-mindedly burgundy, or burgundy with dusty pinks, or burgundy with sandy creams, you simply can’t not take notice. I wonder if the tide is finally turning from the ivory and blush trend of recent years?
Be bold, be beautiful and don’t hold back on colours! If you can’t talk yourself into it just yet, take a look at these lovely photos thanks to Motiejus Photography and let yourself be inspired and convinced…
