I am so pleased to share with you some beautiful photos from Sacha and Alex’s wedding at Farnham Castle, courtesy of Murray Clarke – as always it is a pleasure to be reminded of a lovely wedding whenever I see Murray’s fantastic photography shots.
Sacha and Alex opted for the stubbornly popular mix of ivory and blush wedding flowers, and you can see why this trend is carrying on strong as the flowers were so pretty! We used a classic mix of ivory Avalanche roses, pale blush pink Sweet Avalanche roses, wild looking veronica, spray roses, lisianthus and lacey gypsophila. To link in with the bridesmaids beautiful misty lilac dresses, we added a shrinking of silver brunnia berries and senecio silvery foliage to the bouquets. Then, for the venue flowers we also added fullness with textural hydrangeas, my favourite flowers.
We styled the beautiful lantern hall at Farnham Castle, with tall silver candelabra stands to flank the ceremony table and the start of the wedding aisle. Low silver rose bowls centrepieces were used in the beautiful deep windowsills along the left side, and dressed the ceremony table with matching silver vases with posies of flowers.
All ceremony room flowers were later on reused to dress the guest tables, making the flowers displays work harder throughout the day. We also dressed the grand fireplace with a foliage and hydrangeas garland and added a pretty floral corner to the guest table seating plan.
We are recommended florists at Farnham Castle and we have many Farnham Castle weddings featured on our Farnham Castle venue pages. To get more ideas for your wedding at Farnham Castle, please click here to take a peek and see what is your favourite style?
