This lovely ivory and lilac wedding at Great Fosters was really delicate and mellow and is one of my favourite colour blends from last year. I have been meaning to revisit it for some time, and finally its time has come! Lauren carried a beautiful tear drop bouquet of delicate lilac and ivory roses, lisianthus and freesias, with a delicate halo of silvery green eucalyptus.
For the church ceremony, the cosy church was decorated with 2 focal centrepieces bursting with tall gladiola and delphiuniums, blousy ivory and lilac hydrangeas and lots of roses, scented stocks and lisianthus. The church pews were dressed with handtied posies of scented stocks, lisianthus and roses, with berried eucalyptus.
The wedding reception was held at Great Fosters in the beautiful Tithe Barn. This was dressed with elegant tall candelabra centrepieces bursting with ivory and lilac hydrangeas, scented stocks, roses and lisianthus with pretty berried eucalyptus to echo the pastel colour scheme. With such a high ceiling the tall elegant candelabras add much needed impact for the tall ceilings in the barn. The tables under the eaves of the barn, where the ceiling is very low, were dressed with more intimate and cosy floral displays of dense flower rings with candlelit storm vases.
Throughout, the flowers mix was a delicate colour blend of ivory and pale lilac, with a really really subtle sprinkling of deep purple which suited the barn really well.
