Sophie & Callum’s Boho & Colourful Wedding at Great Fosters
Sophie & Callum’s wedding at Great Fosters was a celebration of boho & colourful wedding colors, wild & vibrant beauty, and a laid-back atmosphere. The couple wanted their flowers to reflect their relaxed outlook and create a lively, unstructured look. The stunning photos showcase just how perfectly the flower arrangements complemented the couple’s vision. Sophie was delighted with the outcome, expressing her gratitude for the stunning floral displays that exceeded her expectations. This is what Lindsay had to say afterwards:
“Just wanted to send a quick email to say what an incredible job you did with the arrangements for my wedding! I cannot tell you the amount of compliments I had on all the flowers, they were just stunning and beyond anything I could have ever imagined – it was just perfect and I can’t thank you both enough”
Sophie envisioned mixed and textural bouquets for herself and her bridesmaids, with a just-picked look and a burst of colour. The bouquets featured a delightful blend of flowers, including roses, ranunculus, muscari, scented stocks, astilbe, and wild fennel to name just a few as the list goes on… Soft pastel shades dominated the arrangements, with occasional pops of deeper fuchsia and purple. The result was really rich and vibrant and the colours looked amazing.
The wedding ceremony took place in the enchanting Great Fosters Orangery, which was colourfully dressed with four tall and colourful displays, framing the ceremony area and the back of the aisle. To complement the vibrant colours, we used tall gold stands to stand the flowers on, and raised them up higher, to head height, on modern art gallery style display plinths. To infuse a splash of colour in between, chair flower posies in hanging jars of water, were placed on the sides of the rustic oak bent back chairs. While each chair back was different, the intentional randomness added a cute and playful element to the decor. Finally, gold lanterns were added down the aisle, to add extra ambiance and add to the rustic vibe.
The wedding breakfast was held in the picturesque Tithe Barn, which continued the theme of vibrant colors and lively atmosphere. The ornamental centrepieces from the Orangery were supplemented by additional arrangements, creating a stunning visual display. Some of the tables were informally dressed with the chair posy bud vases clustered together, some with the tall focal display on gold stands, and some with loose flower-meadow-style displays. Up above, the historic tall barn space above the guest tables, were lit by atmospheric fairy light strings canopy provided by Party Lights. The lovely bent wood chairs were thanks to Academy Hire.
