A Beautiful Luxe All White Wedding at Northbrook Park…
I’m somewhat torn between ivory with the palest hint of blush or classic white as my favourite wedding colour scheme. I’ll hear you say – well, there’s not that much difference between them, its not like they are at total opposite ends of the spectrum, and its not like a really critical life changing dilemma, and right you are! But still… I obsess, and change my mind because I can. For now though, looking at these lovely photos of pure white dreaminess, from Corina and Jonny’s sophisticated all white wedding at Northbrook Park, the all white wedding inches a tiny bit ahead…
Corina came to us with a background of event planning and ultimate attention to detail so I just knew that this wedding would shine with all round perfection from the big things to the little details, and indeed it did not disappoint. When I turned up to the lovely Northbrook Park, a little army slash team of friend helpers was already busy and in a flurry of setting up welcome signs, hanging pretty things around the walled garden at Northbrook, and rehearsing every little aspect of the ceremony, short of actually having Corina and Jonny there in person.
Corina’s colour scheme is both classic and contemporary with a mixture of greys, white & green, and everything just fused together beautifully. Some serious wedding goals here folks. Corina opted for a bloomy bouquet of roses and peonies, with just a hint of eucalyptus. Matching bridesmaids bouquets looked gorgeous against the bridesmaids pale silver grey Grecian dresses.
For the wedding ceremony, we framed the ceremony area with two amazing grand urn centrepieces overspilling with beautiful May blooms including my favourites: hydrangeas, roses and peonies. On the ceremony table, 2 lovely rose bowls again were bursting with flowers. Two tall displays were used at the start of the aisle and pretty silver vintage props were used to link in with Corina’s accent colour of silver grey. Over in the garden room, for the wedding breakfast, the tables were dressed with a mix of tall displays in silver vases, and low collections of posies of flowers and vintage silver candlesticks and votives. The piece de resistance was our awesome (if i say so myself) and beautiful flower wall backdrop which created a gorgeous neutral backdrop to the top table (Corina really wanted to neutralise the ivy clad brick wall behind the top table and the flower wall was just perfect for that).
