Great Fosters wedding – beautiful raspberry pink wedding flowers

Charlotte & Jason’s beautiful Great Fosters summer wedding – lovely raspberry, pinks and ivory wedding flowers

I loved the flowers we arranged for this beautiful Great Fosters wedding.  In a lovely blend of ivory and pinks, the flowers would not fail to make you happy, especially on such a stunning, dry and hot summers day.  We have arranged flowers for many Great Fosters wedding couples and it is hard to pick favourites, but Charlotte and Jason’s flowers are bound to stay up there on the favourites list for quite a while. Charlotte wore a beautiful dreamy bridal gown which she quickly showed my when not quite camera ready.  A quick check later with just an arm showing and holding up the bouquet against the bridal gown, we had a very happy bride, over the moon with how her bouquet had turned out.   For Charlotte’s bouquet we used a pretty mix of ivory, soft pink and raspberry sorbet roses, vintage spray roses and paeonies.  For the bridesmaids bouquets, we toned the flowers colour mix down a little, to ivory and pastel pinks colour blend, to echo the bridesmaids’ lovely raspberry pink chiffon dresses. This Great Fosters wedding ceremony took place in the beautiful Orangery, which we dressed with 2 dramatic pedestal displays, a floaty floral centrepiece for the top table, and pretty petal scatter down the aisle.   We received so many compliments from the mother of the bride and the bridesmaids who were all down in the Orangery at the same time checking out the wedding readiness… My particular favourite flower in this mix were just the odd two single peonies, openning up huge and unapologetically bloomy to reveal a gorgeous yellow centre.  They have such an unusual shape, it is hard not to be amazed by this flower, even when surrounded by more beautiful blooms like roses, normal paonies and blousy hydrangeas. For the wedding reception in the Tithe Barn, Charlotte opted for lots of romantic candlelit floral centrepieces. In the centre of the Tithe Barn where the ceiling is really tall, we created dramatic silver candelabra centrepieces with a mix of ivory, soft pastel pinks and dashes of more vibrant pinks.  Under the eaves, where the ceiling height drops, we used our glamorous silver stemmed candle holder vases with bloomy rings of flowers around their foot.
