Striking ivory & electric blue wedding flowers theme at Monkey Island
Back again for some more Monkey Island wedding flowers, near beautiful Bray! On this ocassion we are returning here to Monkey Island with wedding flowers for Negar and Andy’s wedding ceremony and reception, with a really unusual striking electric blue colour scheme. I would say that this was such that it matched the pretty bridesmaids electric blue dresses, but having seen the photoshots that Negar has kindly emailed me after the wedding, I wonder if a greater force was at play since even the resident peacock coordinated beautifully?… The last time I was here its tail was firmly tucked in but now, it spread its gorgeous feathers for everyone to see, and its amazing feathers coordinated beautifully with the flowers.
Negar’s wedding bouquet was a striking handtied boquuet of ivory Avalanche roses, ivory Crystal Blush calla lilies and royal blue Singapore orchids, while the bridesmaids carried matching posies of ivory Avalanche roses and blue orchids. For the wedding party we created beautiful buttonholes of Avalanche roses and blue Singapore orchids which looked really nice against the dark grey morning suits. For the outdoor ceremony, we dressed the garden pavillion with corner displays of ivory roses, ivory scented stocks and Oriental lilies, with accents of electric blue delphiniums, and placed bay trees dressed with coordinating roses and blue ribbons on either side of the pavillion. The ceremony table was dressed with a coordinating long & low floral display which looked great in the background. The evening reception held in the large function room, was dressed with tall vases with ivory Avalanche roses, ivory scented stocks, scented Oriental lilies and accents of electric blue Singapore orchids and blue delphiniums. The flowers and chair sashes coordinated really nicely to give a modern and elegant look with a difference.
