Pretty Ivory & Green Spring wedding flowers
Fresh for this year, I would love to share with you some lovely designs from a early spring wedding at Great Fosters last spring! I know! Only a year to get round to it, but what a busy one!
The lovely photography is thanks to Gemma Williams – thank you so much for sharing these with us!
The wedding ceremony and reception both took place at Great Fosters and featured one of my most favourite flowers – anemones. The decor was kept quite simple but elegant and classic, with tall candelabra centrepieces which suit this venue really well, and on some of the tables, low matching silver vase centrepieces.
The flowers were all cleverly reused throughout the day, with the ceremony table flowers, tall candelabra displays and the aisle storm vases being later on reused in the Tithe Barn for the wedding breakfast. The Tithe Barn looked very pretty and fresh with these all white and green wedding flowers displays! The tall candelabra displays were used in the centre of the barn where the ceiling is really tall, while the low mirror cube vase centrepiece were used on the tables under the sides of the barn, where the ceiling is really low. Last but not least, the bridesmaids bouquets, placed in silver vases were repurposed (and kept fresh) i elegant silver vases along the length of the top table, with our lovely vintage silver mercury glass candlesticks added for extra ambiance and a touch of glam.
