Light & Dreamy, All-Ivory Wedding at Great Fosters
This was a beautiful and dreamy wedding at Great Fosters, in a classic ivory colour, and we have had so many fans for this classic yet pretty and romantic look! I cannot see these wedding flowers ever looking dated… The ceremony room and the Tithe Barn both looked amazing with all ivory displays with lots of textural flowers and more than a fair share of candle-light!
For her and the bridesmaids bouquets, Carolyn chose a beautiful design of almost white Alpes De Huzes roses and lacey gypsophila which looked beautiful against their outfits. These are a fairy new rose variety with gorgeous nearly white shade and a very full layering of petals. Perfect for a dress which is nearly white, and the gypsophila nicely echoed the lacey design on Carolyn’s lace and tule skirted gown.
For this Great Fosters wedding ceremony, the beautifully light Orangery was dressed with 2 amazing urn centrepieces framing the ceremony area, a stunning candlelit ceremony table display, and a very pretty wedding aisle styled with alternating tall and low centrepieces all placed on ivory plinths. Overhead, the dreamy look continued with a gorgeous tule canopy and hanging flowers and globe tea lights.
Following the amazing ceremony, the wedding reception was in the Tithe Barn, which was styled with all the flower centrepieces used before in the Orangery. The tall candelabra centrepieces were used to dress the majority of the tables in the middle of the barn, where the ceiling is really high, and we added a couple of mixed height displays with vases and candles and raised tea light holders, all using our beautiful vintage silver glassware which nicely complements the silver candelabras. The 6 side tables under the eaves of the barn, where the ceiling is lower, were dressed with the storm vase centrepieces which had previously lined the wedding aisle. The top table was dressed with the ceremony table display so nothing was left unused!
