For her wedding at Great Fosters in Surrey, Hannah and Mathew chose a lovely and sunny mix of ivory and golden yellow wedding flowers, with a rustic informal style, and contrasted this with beautiful vintage silver mercury glass props. The combination was really lovely and worked beautifully in this lovely venue.
Most of the lovely moody photography in this post is thanks to Kris Piotrovski Photography. There are lots of beautiful photos capturing so nicely the informal style that Hannah & Mathew wanted to have at their wedding. Please check out Kris’ website.
Hannah and her bridesmaids had gorgeous and textural bouquets in a summery sunny mix of ivory, golden yellow and silvery grey. The mix of Golden Vuvuzela garden roses, ivory roses, scented freesias, hydrangeas, yellow craspedia and daisies, and silver brunia berries & succulents, looked amazing and stood out beautifully against the silver grey bridesmaids dresses. Mathew and the wedding party men wore buttonholes of yellow craspedia, silver brunnia berries and lacey gypsophila and the mums corsages used freesias, lisianthus and gypsophila. Such a pretty effect!
The ceremony took place in the light and airy Orangery at Great Fosters. This was decorated with 2 tall vases of flowers, framing and creating a nice backdrop to the ceremony area, and a clustering effect of pretty vases and candles on the registrar’s table. The wedding aisle was lined with rose petals scatter and atmospheric candle-lit storm vases.
I absolutely love these next two photos, big thumbs up for Kris!
Back inside for the wedding breakfast, the guests made their way into the rustic Tithe Barn, which looked beautiful with this layout and the fairy lights around the beams. A long oval top table was dressed with a line up of bouquets in silver vases, connected by lots of vintage silver mercury candlelights. The surrounding guest tables had tall wild and rustic vase centrepieces on, to echo the tall ceiling of the barn, while the 4 outer guest tables under the eaves were styled with cosy low centrepieces.
Many congratulations to Hannah & Mathew, this is a shot they will treasure forever! The best thing about a summer wedding at Great Fosters – so romantic!
