Happy & sunny golden flowers
Hannah and Mathew’s golden yellow themed wedding at Great Fosters Hotel in Surrey was a really happy summer celebration featuring a beautiful mix of ivory and summery yellow wedding flowers with a rustic yet elegant style. The couple chose some of our beautiful vintage silver mercury glass props, to contrast with the golden yellows and add a touch of glam for their table decor.
Hannah and her bridesmaids carried gorgeous and textural bouquets in a summery mix of ivory, golden yellow, and silvery grey, while Mathew and the wedding party men sported elegant buttonholes of craspedia, gypsophila and eucalyptus sprigs, and was pleased to see that these were a perfect match not only for the smart ties, but also the men’s playfully yellow socks. The mix of Golden Vuvuzela garden roses, ivory roses, scented freesias, hydrangeas, yellow craspedia and daisies, and silver brunia berries & succulents, looked amazing in the bouquets and stood out beautifully against the silver grey bridesmaids dresses. Meanwhile, the mums corsages used freesias, lisianthus and gypsophila. Such a pretty effect!
The ceremony in the light and airy Orangery was adorned with beautiful flower arrangements and candle-lit storm vases, creating a romantic ambiance. Next door, in the conservatory, Hannah & Matt hung cute paper lanterns in golden colours, perfect for drinks and canapés and later on for chilling out during dancing.
Inside the rustic Tithe Barn for the wedding breakfast, the guests were greeted with a pretty and social layout, with the long oval top table being in the very centre of the Tithe Barn, and the fairy lights strings around the Tudor beams, created a beautiful and enchanting ambiance. The long oval top table featured bouquets in silver vases and vintage silver mercury candlelights, while the surrounding guest tables were adorned with wild and rustic tall vase centrepieces. For the tables around the edges of the barn, where the ceiling is low, candlelit clusters of low vases and pretty silver candleholders created an informal and charming effect.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the beautiful photography , thanks to Kris Piotrovski Photography, so many pretty photos capturing so nicely the informal style that Hannah & Mathew wanted to have at their wedding. Many congratulations to Hannah & Mathew, this last shot in the gorgeous rose garden is one to be treasured! The best thing about a summer wedding at Great Fosters – so romantic!
