Aghi & Becky’s beautiful wedding at Pembroke Lodge
I loved creating these gorgeous dusty pink wedding flowers for Aghi & Becky’s wedding – the colour scheme was just dreamy and romantic and all the little details came together so so perfectly.
Becky chose such a lovely dusty pink dress colour for her bridesmaids, really perfect for a summer wedding and it also complemented the bridesmaids dark hair colour so well. We added a subtle pop of deeper dusty pink to their bouquets, and then kept the shades a teensy bit paler for the venue flowers.
In the bouquets, we used a pretty mix of Avalanche roses, Mentha roses, Ohara scented garden roses, dusty pink Ocean Song roses, wax flowers and lisianthus, plus pretty sage green eucalyptus. For the venue flowers we added blousy hydrangeas and scented stocks, and lacy gypsophila, to give a very pretty and elegant look.
The wedding ceremony and the wedding breakfast were hosted at Pembroke Lodge, in their intimate Russell Suite upstairs. We dressed the room with 4 tall vase centrepieces on plinths and then reused those at table centrepieces on most of the round guest tables – two were used to flank the ceremony area and two more flanking the start of the wedding aisle. Becky really liked our pretty silvery hanging vases for chair posies so we added chair flowers o every other row, and they looked so so sweet. Matching silver bud vases were used to dress the ceremony table and the guest comments book table and we created a gorgeous mantlepiece display with candlelight and blousy blooms. Last but not least we welcomed guests with pretty foliage garlands running up the balustrade, studded with flower clusters every step or so, a really lovely touch which really elevated the decor.
For table centrepieces we used a mix of ivory and dusty pink wedding flowers centrepieces, some on tall vases to add impact as you come into the main part of the room, and some low ones on the back part of the room, through the beautiful arch. Gorgeous candlelight added the finishing touches – I used a mix of tall stemmed champagne silver votives and low dusty pink mercury glass votives – a nice elegant flourish to just nicely finish off the table decor.
The beautiful cake was provided by Erica at Iced Innovations, and we provided pretty cake corsages and a cake toper of pretty roses, lisianthus and wax flowers.
