Our wedding flowers arch is born
My most recent wedding flowers creation is a stunning wedding flowers arch for hire in Surrey, Berkshire, London and the SE. The concept of twee and somewhat American looking floral arches left me feeling that there is room for something far lovelier. So I got really excited at the thought of creating a really special and dreamy floral arch to complement our very popular amazing wedding blossom flower trees. So somewhat later, our new and very romantic flower arch came to be, and to be used for its first time at Jemma’s lovely wedding at Great Fosters.
Packing real punch in terms of impact, I have to say I am really pleased with how it turned out. Even the plainest ceremony rooms with hardly anything else around it, would look amazing with this arch as a backdrop for the wedding ceremony… For its first airing at Jemma and Ben’s very romantic wedding at Great Fosters, the effect in the light and airy Orangery was simply breathtaking! A tiny bit Kim Kardashianesque it may well be, but also so romantic and dreamy, and dare I say a lot more affordable. The arch is made with beautiful high quality faux blooms and is normally available in ivory but can be customised as it was here, with accent flowers in whatever colour choice you wish. In Jemma’s case it was customised with beautiful peachy blush paeonies which looked stunning. Jemma and Ben’s wedding was a perfect unveiling of the beautiful arch since Jemma chose such a pretty vintage ivory / pearls theme with touches of pale blush and peach. The bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets and flowers girls posies were all a soft mix of ivory, pale blush and pale peach roses, Klooney ranunculus and scented stocks. The chairs were beautifully dressed with pale peach organza wraps with ivory and pearl buckles, and the wedding aisle was lined with pretty rose petals scatter in soft ivory, blush and pale peach. The amazing wedding arch was the pièce de résistance, and was flanked by two stunning floral wedding urn centrepieces with dramatic delphiniums, ivory and blush hydrangeas, scented stocks and roses. The ivory jugs of flowers eventually destined for the guest table centrepieces were used to dress the ceremony table, the windowsill behind the arch and the alcove in the Orangery. Below are some beautiful shots from this lovely wedding at Great Fosters, most of them thanks to Katherine Edden Photography.
