Froyle Park Wedding Flowers

Beautifully Vibrant Wedding Flowers at Froyle Park Wedding

I was so excited when I met with Sonal to help her pull together the whole look for her Froyle Park wedding flowers. Sonal wanted to combine bright and colourful jewel like colour blend with whimsical vintage touches. She really wasn’t sure how to make it all work without either looking too pale and safe, or loosing the glamorous touch she wanted the wedding to have. We came up with a beautiful colours mix, to echo the bright colours of her Sri Lankan guests outfits, and brought in lots of beautiful vintage silver props & accessories to cool it all down and keep it looking opulent.

Sonal wanted a bridal bouquet which would tone in with her beautiful pale coral wedding dress, but had some contrasting colours to stand out. We designed a beautiful bouquet of lilac hydrangea, beautiful coral Vuvuzuela garden roses mixed in with lilac and pink roses, and splashes of deep purple lisianthus. The men wore buttonholes of Vuvuzuela coral roses and lilac Pacific Blue roses, with deep purple lisianthus. Moving on to the ceremony room – a beautiful wood panelled room, the main flowers in this room, were tall and dramatic elegant silver vase centrepieces – 2 placed at the beginning and 2 at the end of the wedding aisle, and the chairs down the aisle being styled with nice deep purple ribbons to the floor. Behind the ceremony table, we focussed on the fireplace mantelpiece and hearth, with a pretty line up of silver vintage vases with posies of colourful flowers in them, silver candleholders, storm vases and tea light votives. The wedding ceremony was followed by a tea ceremony and cake cutting in an adjoining room. The beautiful whimsical wedding cake was surrounded by pretty tea cups with blooms in them, and plenty of fragrant rose petal scatter.

The Froyle Park wedding reception was held in the grand ballroom, full with nearly 20 tables. With so many tables, we recommended to Sonal that she has a mixture of two different designs for her table centrepieces, to stop the room getting too top heavy and looking over-full, and to stop it looking all too samey.  Half of the tables were styled with tall vase centrepieces with flowers at the top of the elegant silver metal vases, and the rest were dressed with beautiful French style silver candelabras with draping crystals. Each tall vase was surrounded by beautiful vintage mercury glass pillar candle holders and matching mercury glass votives.  And equally, each candelabra was surrounded by vintage mercury glass little vases with posies of flowers in them, and more matching votives to add a splash of colour on the tables. Throughout, the mix of flowers was a jewel like bright but opulent mix of roses, blousy hydrangeas, scented stocks and lisianthus, in pale and deeper pinks, coral, lilac, mid and deep purple, with cool silvery green eucalyptus and accent purple eucalyptus.
