Our lovely wedding flowers got more fantastic Botleys Mansion wedding reviews from the couple, the venue staff and wedding guests yesterday. It’s our 5th time at Botleys Mansion this year and it’s so nice to be greeted by good vibes again.
So far this year, our weddings at Botleys have had quite different colour themes and schemes. Michelle and Mark’s wedding is the first to feature pink – the whole wedding was unabashedly and unapologetically pink and Michelle just loved it and could really carry it off. When we delivered the bouquets to the bridal suite, she looked chilled out and beautifully coordinated with her colour scheme, in a Barbie pink top, true to the day’s girlie pink theme. The bouquets were really gorgeous and looked lovely against the dusty pink bridesmaids dresses and Michelle’s floaty princess style wedding gown. We used a heavenly scented mix of pinks and ivory, including roses, peonies and very cute vintage spray roses
In the foyer, we welcomed guests to Botleys with a tall but simple centrepiece of romantic hydrangeas immersed in water and topped with floating candles. To frame Michelle & Mark during the ceremony, we dressed the Green Room with 2 of the tall table centrepieces, in a mix of ivory and blush with sage green eucalyptus. Likewise, the ceremony table was styled with 2 of the low table centrepieces, connected by scented votives and petal scatter. Finishing off the decor, we tied pretty dusky pink hanging jars to alternate chair ends to style the aisle, with cute posies of roses, gypsophila sprigs and a little eucalyptus for contrast.
Later on after the ceremony, the cute chair posies in little hanging vases were reused by dotting them along the sweeping staircase handrail, to add a little colour and contrast to the green ivy already in place at the venue. The top table was dressed with a series of pretty bubble vases bursting with gorgeous blousy bouquets and the rest of the guest tables were dressed with a mix of tall vase displays and larger low vases like the ones on the top table.
The gorgeous wedding cake provided by talented Erica from Iced Innovations in Weybridge, and looked fantastic dressed with our mix of ivory and pastel pink roses.
Our flowers received so many positive Botleys Mansion wedding reviews from the staff and the other suppliers, it was really lovely to hear it. This was much to our relief, as for a brief and fleeting moment we wondered if we were perhaps a little bit pinked-out…
