Pastel Blush & Pale Blue Wedding at Farnham Castle

Pretty pastels wedding at Farnham Castle

For Katie and Ben’s wedding flowers at Farnham Castle, we pulled together a mellow mix of pastel blush and pale blue, and accented these beautiful designs with lovely vintage silver props to give the pastel colours better standout against the all neutral fabric of this beautiful venue. Katie carried a lovely textural bouquet of ivory hydrangeas and roses, with blush pink Sweet Avalanche roses and vintage pink Memory Lane roses and her bridesmaids held matching bouquets with subtle touches of blue muscari.  The mens’ buttonholes matched the bouquets, with Avalanche roses and muscari. Following an intimate blessing in the Lantern Hall, Katie and Ben were married in the chapel, after which, the wedding breakfast was held in the Great Hall.  The flower designs were adapted to be used throughout the day – for the starting blessing in the Lantern Hall, the aisle was styled with pretty chair end flower posies and flickering flame LED candles in storm vases.  The ceremony table was dressed with pretty flower posies connected by rose petals scatter, and flanked by two tall candelabra stands centrepieces on our pedestal plinths  The windows along the length of the Lantern Hall were styled with pretty rose bowl centrepieces.

For the wedding breakfast in the Great Hall, the guest tables were dressed with a mix of tall silver candelabra stands and low rose bowls displays bursting with vintage blooms – ivory, blush and palest blue hydrangeas, ivory, blush and vintage pink roses, muscari and eucalyptus. And finally, the mantlepiece on the imposing fireplace was dressed with 4 foliage displays later on connected by the candlelit storm vases from the wedding aisle.
