Candlelit Winter wedding at Hampton Court House
Ashley and John’s wedding flowers at Hampton Court House were a lovely wintery mix of all white flowers with plenty of candlelight mixed in, for a classic and inviting look, perfect for this beautiful venue. Ashley carried a beautifully scented bouquet of Avalanche roses, lisianthus, gypsophila and scented wintry genista, with a few sprays of trailing Singapore orchids. Her bridesmaids, wearing champagne gold floor length dresses, carried matching sparkly handbags which were styled with pretty corsages, making a nice alternative to posies. The men’s buttonholes were pure Avalanche rose and gypsophila.
The ceremony room was simply but elegantly dressed with some of the guest table centrepieces, being used here first was to max out the budget as much as possible. 4 of the tall candelabra centrepieces were used to flank the ceremony table and the start of the wedding aisle. The wedding aisle itself was lined with rose petals scatter and candlelit storm vases and the ceremony table was styled with 2 low centrepieces, connected by rose petals scatter and more candlelight.
The dramatic great hall at Hampton Court House with the striking red walls and extremely tall vaulted ceiling, was quite full with guest tables, so Ashley opted for a mix of tall and low table centrepieces to avoid it all becoming too samey. Tall candelabra centrepieces with a pure white and silver wintry look alternated with low silver cube vase floral displays. The grand room looked amazing!
