Silver birch trees wedding

Silver birch trees wedding at Great Fosters

There’s something undeniably enchanting about bringing the beauty of nature indoors, and this recent wedding with silver birch trees down the aisle at Great Fosters highlights just how stunning and enchanting this concept can be.

Holly & James’ Jewish ceremony took place in the beautifully light Orangery, which was transformed into a magical setting with super tall silver birch trees in ivory planters lining the aisle and leading the eye towards a beautiful and ethereal tulle-draped chuppah.   The birch trees adorned, with draping crystals and hanging tea light holders and candlelight down the aisle, created a truly mesmerising setting for this fairytale wedding.  The chiavari chairs were elegantly dressed with light and dreamy ruffles with gorgeous blush roses and eucalyptus tucked in. Either side of the dreamy chuppah, two beautiful floral urns added a splash of summer colour to the ceremony and added to the beautiful backdrop.

For Holly, we created a scented bridal bouquet of pink paeonies, Dutch roses, David Austin garden roses and Colombian O’Hara garden roses, feathery astilbe, dahlias, and lisianthus, with velvety silver lambs wool foliage. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of hydrangeas, dahlias, roses and lisianthus. The colours blended seamlessly, to accent the barely pink dresses, and reflect the golden accents used throughout the venue décor.

After drinks and canapés in the beautiful grounds at Great Fosters, the wedding breakfast took place in the historic tithe barn with beautiful oak panelling, with a romantic fairy lights canopy.  The guest tables were dressed with gorgeous centrepieces of hydrangeas, roses, astilbe, scented stocks, paeonies and gypsophila. Impeccable detailing with silver rimmed charger plates, golden script table names and our pretty vintage votives made for very pretty guest tables. Each tall and low centrepiece was surrounded by even more amazing flowers, with a satellite of little flowers posies in vases, mixed in with romantic candlelight.

The long top table was dressed with a pretty line up of bouquets and silver glassware and candleholders, and the two floral urns from the ceremony room, were used as a beautiful backdrop to the speeches. Gold and ivory lace bunting hung over the table centrepieces and added even more vintage glamour to this beautiful wedding décor.

Matching the beautifully ruffled chair styling by Host with Style, the cake, crafted by Designer Cakes by Elle, was a textural swirl of yummy chocolatey ruffles.
